Founded in 1905 by 24-year-old Hans Wilsdorf, Rolex created a completely new type of wristwatch when it introduced the world’s first waterproof watchcase:

One Brand per Issue

Started in 2011, Magazine B is a monthly publication from South Korea that introduces one international brand in each issue. Between its covers, Magazine B not only shares untold stories behind a brand but also a lot about its impact on our global culture, which will be of great value to anyone with an interest for brands and how they become truly great. 

B pursues its quest for true value of a printed medium by becoming a mag that is worth possessing in itself – unaffected by advertisements since it receives no financial support from the brand. While focusing on a brand, the publication maintains a unique and independent perspective which is increasingly disappearing among different media outlets. 

B dedicates each issue to the story of one specific brand from around the world, based on four aspects: beauty, practicality, price and philosophy. Each issue is packed with unique insights and in-depth analysis. Magazine B will continue to search brands that it pursues to introduce cover-to-cover with interviews, essays, great photography and dedicated design. 

From brand managers to people who want to learn about brand marketing and management: Magazine B is for everyone who plans to start a business or just has a taste for great brands. Their issues on the brands Rolex and Porter were what caught our attention in the first place, and since every issue delivers important and often beautiful insights, we have decided to make assorted issues available in our lifestyle selection.
