This 1601 is a great example of a really cool and wearable watch, with a strong and thick case and nice fluted bezel. The Datejust seems to be getting hotter each year and we have always been big fans here at Bulang and Sons. The black dial is in lovely original condition with lume dots showing a litlle wear but still intact. Matching hands (some minor lume loss on the minute hand). The Jubilee bracelet, which is in very good condition, has a B4 stamped clasp and reference 555 endlinks. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and will come with a strap of your choice from our web shop*.
The term ‘Sigma’ refers to the small greek letter sigmas that flank the T SWISS T on Rolex dials from the early 1970s. Their presence actually signifies that the hour markers are made from white gold.
